WOW ~!
After 6 mths of visiting the hospitals, the sheer pain, the constant dreams, the love & care which my family had given me.... I have finally finished this chapter of my life.
Now, I'm entering into a new chapter & I'm so glad that you all have read & supported me all the way.
Nothing touches me more than the care that you had showed.... THANK YOU.
Having cancer, as I found out, is not the end of the life journey. ( no doubt I did have the DEATH thought).
Its just another chapter, just like any story book when the lead character seems to hit a roadblock & all seems lost. But at the end, the book always have a happy or meaningful ending.

That was painful as well since the rib cage & flesh tissues were cut open during the operation.
The side effects were horrible too. I have physical body pain, lots of pimples all over my body, ulcers, wind in my stomach, constant vomiting, nauseous, wild dreams... it's just too many to tell.
Its 4 wks now since my last chemotherapy.
I saw the oncologist doctor & am so glad that I just need to go back in 1.5 mths time for an Xray to see the progress of the recovery, as well as to monitor any cancer recurrence.
Based on the color of my face, my enthusiasm & my fighting spirit, the doctor doesn't seems worried about my condition. Even my chinese doctor also told me the same thing.
The first 3yrs will be vital & I need to take care of my diet, my lifestyle & exercise regularly to avoid recurrence of cancer. There are still many food which I'm not allow to touch.
Well, its better to listen to the doctors advise & lower the chances of getting cancer again.
I just came back from a short trip in Singapore with my family
I made a visit to meet Dr Agasthian & nurse Audrey as well. Was very happy to meet them & introduced my son to them.

Really thankful that they had spent some time with us. Ate lots of good food & spent a few hundred bucks at UniQlo Sg. Our timing was just right for the Great Singapore Sales.

Therefore, think positive, have goals in my life, take things easy & take 1 step at a time.
Life is worth living once we know what to live for.

Nxt topic - Seeking HELP When You Have Cancer
stay strong. stay strong.
ReplyDeleteHi Richard,
ReplyDeleteThanx for the encouragement.
My hope is to get other cancer patients to be as strong too.
Will continue to share my experiences.
Hello Nick.. coming by from Ipoh via cynthia's blog... just wanna tell you that u r very strong, just like my brother who was stricken with cancer two years ago and now he is under remission like you.. taking regular exercise in the evening around our house, sweating profusely each day, taking good quality food such as barley green and oats, oh, he is now vegetarian too.. during his chemo (he went for 26 chemo and a cycle of radiotherapy) he took only fish and vegetables.. now he is fully vegetarian, i dont know whether it is good for him or not, he make his own choice... anyway, as long as he is now healthy and leading a normal life again, it is all that matters..
ReplyDeleteGreat blog here, Nick... may your encouragement brings hope to others in the same dilemma...
God Bless you,
Claire
Hi Claire,
ReplyDeleteThanx so much for the encouragement.
Along the way, I have met a few whom are not as strong emotionally & mentally.
I would like to help these cancer patients. Help them up & walk the journey together.
Great to know that your brother is a strong fighter.
One of our challenges is to change our lifestyle and lead a healthy life by daily exercising.
Do send my regards to your brother.
Cheers
Nick
I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
ReplyDeleteliver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
